DR. FROST'S WRITING GUIDELINES

• DO NOT use contractions (Can't, won't, shouldn't, etc. - instead use cannot, will not, should not, etc.).
• DO NOT use personal pronouns (I, you, me, us, we, my our, etc.)

OPENING A PARAGRAPH:

• Open a paragraph in your voice. 

SUPPORT YOUR OPENING: 

• Support your opening statements with an expert voice (professor, university, published book).

CLOSING YOUR PARAGRAPH:

• Close your paragraph in your voice. Do not merely repeat your opener. EXPLAIN what you want your reader to fully understand.
